Creative discovery museum staff1/16/2024 ![]() ![]() They can use tools, blocks, materials and more to build create with. This exhibit lets my kids be creative and hands on. My younger kids had fun crawling through a big heart, learning about digestion, and seeing a giant brain. Pro Tip: I have extra clothes in my care and have had to use them when my kids were younger after playing in the water area. It is a fun interactive area that allows kids to learn about recreation, irrigation, hydroelectric power and more! Plan on your kids getting a little wet with this exhibit! Truckee Connects is possibly my kids favorite exhibit. All of my kids absolutely love climbing the cloud together and with friends! Truckee Connects It’s a big climbing structure that goes up three floors. You can check out full details and our review of this special exhibit here. The exhibition Monster Fish: In Search of the Last River Giants showcases over 20 fish species through captivating life-size sculptures, interactive exhibits, and video installations. ![]() This is a traveling exhibit that is currently at the museum now through January 7, 2024. Parking is free for museum goers, no pass needed. The museum offers a large parking lot directly next to it.
